On February 7, 2023, Senator Busson attended the National Health and Fitness Ski Day on the Hill with Senator Marty Deacon and other Senators and MPs with some Youth from BC. Senator Deacon introduced skiers participating in an exchange between Ottawa and Salmon Arm, B.C. Mel Arnold, MP for North Okanagan- Shuswap and Senator Busson, Salmon Arm, also said a few words of support.
